A compassionate program for teens ages 12–17
Our Online Intensive Outpatient Program removes typical barriers to care by offering personalized, reliable, and judgment-free support that works with your family’s life, not against it.
Flexible scheduling
- Choose morning, afternoon, or evening sessions, designed to work around school, family commitments, and your teen’s energy levels.
Private and secure
- Our HIPAA-compliant platform allows your teen to open up in the comfort of their home, without the stigma or anxiety of attending in person.
Consistent clinical support
- Our structured approach ensures your teen receives reliable care each week, ideal for those transitioning from higher levels of care or needing more than weekly therapy.
What is an Online IOP for Teens?
A Virtual IOP is a structured, clinically supervised treatment program that takes place online. It’s designed for teens who need more than weekly therapy but don’t require full-time residential care.
Avery’s House Virtual IOP includes:
- Support for parents every step of the way
- Live group, individual, and family therapy sessions
- A flexible 3- or 5-day weekly schedule
- Personalized coaching and case management
- Medication oversight when needed

Our Online IOP may be a good fit if your teen…
- Struggles with anxiety, depression, or emotional outbursts
- Has withdrawn socially or shows signs of school refusal
- Is struggling with identity, body image, or low self-worth
What to expect in Teen IOP
- Sessions offered in the morning, afternoon, or evening
- Mix of group therapy, individual counseling, and family sessions
- Weekly psychiatric check-ins and medication support
- Ongoing progress reviews and parent updates

Our daughter went to Avery’s House for her struggles with depression and other mental health issues. The staff there evaluated her situation and needs, kicking off her treatment journey. The incredibly professional team conducted fantastic one-on-one sessions that made a remarkable difference.

We’re with you—every step, and after
We don’t believe in just “ending” treatment. When your teen completes our Treatment Program, we stay with you through the next steps.

Personalized aftercare plan
We create a tailored plan that may include weekly therapy, continued coaching, or added school-based support.

Smooth transitions
Your teen keeps building on their progress with guidance that’s steady, simple, and built for real life.

Ongoing support
Optional coaching or check-ins are always available because progress shouldn’t pause just because the program ends.
We’re in-network with insurance providers
We work with most major insurance providers to minimize the cost of treatment. Let’s check to see if your provider will cover your teen’s treatment.
Therapies we offer
We use clinically proven therapies that help teens build emotional strength, develop healthy coping skills, and reconnect with themselves and others. Each approach is carefully matched to your teen’s specific needs:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): We use DBT to help teens build emotional regulation skills and reduce impulsive reactions.
- Motivational Interviewing: We help teens explore what matters most to them and identify their own reasons for making healthier decisions.
- Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP): We support teens facing anxiety or OCD with ERP tools that gradually help them face fears and reduce compulsive behaviors.
- Art & Experiential Therapies: Our team leads teens in creative and expressive activities that allow emotional expression beyond words.
Our team is here to guide, support, and walk with your family every step of the way.
